It always amazes me how some of the best rappers are poor at articulating their points

Mook is saying Rum Nitty is a great punchline rapper but he lacks substance outside of shooting you. He doesn't deliver any message in his bars. And not message as in something conscious but message as in relaying an idea that follows a cohesive thought. It's just random strung together lines. They're dope, but you never leave a battle changing your perspective on his opponent.

And for that reason, Nitty lacks the ability to connect with the audience without using a punchline. For example, Eazy the Block Captain can not only deliver dope punches but he also has substance and has moments where there's no intricately layered bar, it's just a line that the audience can feel he really means what he's saying. Even if they can't relate personally.
