It definitely makes battle rap better if the artists has something going on besides battle rap. They don’t have to oversaturate themselves, and more conducive to being involved in big battles.
If guys like Hitman, Mook, Lux, Goodz, etc weren’t selective there would be no big battles.
Look at someone like Danny Myers. Is it even possible for this guy to have a big battle?
I know a lot of people view him as a warrior or whatever, but I don’t see anything cool about battling every week. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do, but you can’t be mad at Lux or whoever doing what they gotta do and going with the better option for their career.

Think about it…the dudes who ask for and expect 20k and better a battle…wtf are they gonna do if Beasley and them say nah, 5k, take it or leave it? And no other league is even offering that?! What can they do? Say no and just be regular ass dudes who gotta go find a job? No, they gonna take that 5…it’s better than 0.
