I know we like to clown JC & Danny Myers for battling random nobodies every other day but unless you have a primary source of income outside BR, it’s only way to keep the lights on.
For someone of Geechi’s notoriety/tier, battling that much is not feasible because his price is exponentially higher than theirs and most small leagues can’t afford it consistently. We all know the type of figures Mook sees from his battles and we also saw his living conditions. I remember at one point K-Shine was showing off his ATL mini-mansion and new whips. Once he fell out with URL and the battles slowed up, he’s back in Harlem sitting on a porch with Rex.
Besides Hitman, DNA, and Math…most of these dudes is down bad foreal.
Geechi battles damn near as much as they do

JC just battled P.A.Y.N.E 2 weeks ago. Danny Myers battled Reverse Live (not making that up I swear) around the same time.
Couldn’t tell you when Geechi’s last battle was. If it was small league, I’m sure it was at a huge discount from his normal fee.

The thing is that Geechi isn't some knuckle head that is stuck in the trenches, he's an acclaimed battle-rap that has earned more money and had access to way more opportunities than a regular street nikka ever could. He should've never had to have needed to go back to the streets. He could've very well parlayed the success he had and the money he made as a battle rapper into anything else. Geechie knew better.
