Then URL is basically saying that they are never going to do ppv because bootlegging and illegal streams will never be stopped. If billion dollar businesses like the EPL, NBA, boxing and nfl can't stop bootlegging and illegal streams, how could a small pocket business like URL stop it? If this is really their stance, they need to go fukk themselves.

URL is full of shyt... Based off viewers of the live stream, UW ate good despite the bootlegging. If you put out good matchups, nikkas will pay, period. fukk URL.

I really hope UW takes over this battle shyt now. Lets hope they have events every couple months.

When is the last event that you wouldn't have paid $30 for the live stream tho? The sneaker event? Ars/Verb event? You don't have to have Lux on the card to charge $30.

Me personally, I would've paid for three of their last four events. Nome3, SM3 and Born Legacy.

and what happened at sm3 breh,

Nome3 only had "That's Nash" and "nikkas bringin props to win" clips/magic and dna/chilla were not classics in any sense of the word, bigt/shine and rex/diz were :sleep: worthy

Born Legacy was decent, i woulda dropped 10 for it at most tho magic/ill was the only legitimately dope battle for me tho

So basically you're saying you aren't willing to drop a petty $30 on any event that doesn't have Lux on the card.
And you aren't making any points because nobody knows how good or bad an event will be before the event airs. NOME3 is still the best card ever IMO. im sayin if a lux and hollow matchup, damn near the biggest matchup ever, is 30, then no way in hell i'd pay 30 for somethin like that sneaker event card

and im not gonna pretend like i didn't know what happened at those events so you shouldn't of asked that question in the first place

i'd pay for a pg vs. vet card, 20$ tops, but they actin like they dont even want a card like that to happen

i'd pay less than 30 for something that was less than lux/hollow, i dont see what's wrong with that

It was just about url going the ppv route for me.. You bought up the $30 price, not me. You asked me what matchup url could put out thats worth the same price as Lux v Hollow. Again, we didn't only pay for Lux vs Hollow. I gave you three cards that were comparabale to the high stakes card and well worth $30 based off the names/matchups on the cards. I know I wouldve paid for sm3, nome3 and born legacy.

yeah 50% is what kotd had to pay and they used ustream as well. i'm pretty sure that doesn't include whatever they had to pay the camera guys.

cut surf and tay roc and that should be the next card imo.

i think this event showed that you can do just fine with 4 battles. cuts down on delays, and saves money which lets you get better matchups.
