The amount of non battling "hood celebs" the battle world has produced is crazy. Everybody has a name now, especially New York nikkas. Look at Nellz.. Check cashing girl by day, "boss chick Nellz" at night.

I know I'm late, but I finally got a chance to listen to an Angryfanradio podcast. It was the one with Hollow Da Don. You gotta keep in mind their show just started a couple weeks ago & these mufukkas already have a dozen episodes.
I like when they asked Hollow who won the Lux battle, he says he doesn't really judge battles like that, or danny myers vs rum nitty, or a jc vs chilla jones. I feel the exact same way. When you got guys who basically match each other every single round, it just comes down to nitpicking.
Not a bad episode at all.
On these type of shows, I just fast forward until the guest comes on. This is not a knock on the guys hosting the shows, but I'm just not interested in their opinion on battle rap. I do the exact same thing with BRA.
Now I'm glad i let it play when Hollow got off the phone, because Ah di boom called in, gave his opinion & even spit some bars.
There's so much listening material out there for me, that guest are important for someone like me to tune in. If you have a guest on that I'm not really interested in, I'll skip the episode. Like I have no interest in hearing Bigg K (although who knows he may be an interesting guy), but his episode is the one where the Black Ice vs Ms Gracie phone conversation took place. BRA is pretty straight forward. Since the Angryfanradio show has a lot of spontaneous shyt, it kind of forces the listener to tune to every episode to see if they're missing anything.
Props to Angryfan Radio. It's less political as BRA is basically URL. Still don't care for 3Letterman.

Both bra and angryfan radio has its pros and cons
Hip hop syko pretty much saves bra. He pretty knowledgable and normally keeps it 100. Even when I disagree with him at least he has an in depth rationale on why he feels the way he feels
Angry fan radio is horrible in this regard. They pretty much announce they winners and losers and have no in depth reasons on why, it's just how they feel at the moment.
Now where angry fan is better at is the flow of the show and they give better interviews

This dude will literally asks question and as some one is answering the question he asked himself Jesse will cut him off and introduce the next guest. It's ways to bring a guy on and the show still run smoothly. And Jesse ask some of the dumbest questions you could possibly ask someone.

Norbes just confirmed they got Budden to battle. He didn't say who or what event though. Also announced Ty Law vs Magic is going down in sept.
Ty Law's vs Prez will be released April 4th. Lots of good things are being said about Ty's performance this battle!

Only thing i can think of is either SM4 is in Sept again this year or either Magic or Ty Law requested this much amount of time to get ready. Or maybe Norbes wants to continue to build on Ty Law's Name before giving him magic. There was alot of flak last year about the ill will vs tay roc battle with tons of people saying ill will doesn't deserve that shot yet. They might want Ty Law to get a couple more battles under his belt first before going against Magic.
Also in case yall didn't know Ty Law vs Reignman is going down next month in philly. With Reignman and Reed coming back hopefully this sparks some kind of philly movement in battle rap. WE MISS IT DEARLY!
