Smack has the money but he'd be a fool to pay. Notice UW's been quiet aftet they spent on Lux/Hollow. He spent a lot and people like Con and Hitman showed up with 2 rounds. Smack's problem is he built personal relationships with the nikkas he does business with. Look at how upset he was over the Hitman fallout. These nikkas feel like Smack owes them or the brand is theirs too. They're way too comfortable. You shouldn't chill with the people you pay to work for.
URL needs to be more professional too and if the next event fails they may be done.

I agree with ALL of his. And I've said as much on here. These dudes should've treat this shyt just like a label exec would... These dudes are employees at the end of the day. I think he's taking a more business approach now... I'm hearing about contracts and all kinds of shyt.

That's true.... But a lot of the new guys now won't be. The money is coming in now and the lack of structure is becoming a problem. Like if I'm a league and I want to have battles judged I'm gonna do it. Now if you don't wanna battle on my league with those rules than cool. But I'm not gonna hold my shyt back. Honestly this battle shyt needs to take a break for a whole and find some damn structure.

the main problem is people making up all these business rules that battle rappers have to follow when at the end of the day they're ALL freelance rappers, that's all this shyt is. you never see freelancers in other industries catch flack for going from company to company because everyone understands what it is, for some reason the battle rap world just be makin up rules to abide by, like battle rappers are supposed to live by a higher moral code than everyone else, shyt is ridiculous and it just stems from none of these nikkas knowing a damn thing about how business works in the real world, these nikkas be tryna combine street rules and legit business practices at the same damn time
