After a number of battlers have come out with reactions to Dizaster’s punching Math Hoffa over the weekend, President of the West Coast arm of the KOTD battle league spoke exclusively with Battle Rap to provide a different perspective. Claiming that the fight caused as much as $80,000 worth of damage, Aspect One also suggested that the incident has tainted the public image of the West Coast Battle Rap scene.
“We look like a bunch of p*ssy-ass fools jumping somebody who came out here by himself,” Aspect One said of the fight footage. “Came to the venue with one person. You guys didn’t even fukking let it be fair, like, let him get down on his own. Let Diz fight him by himself outside of the venue, outside of King of the Dot shyt without fukking up our equipment. You don’t give a fukk about $80,000 you motherfukkers just fukked up. But you probably wanna fight me over this interview. This is real shyt because it’s stupid bullshyt. You think we safe if we go to fukking New York? You think we safe if I go out to New York and chill? What the fukk is ya’ll doing this for? How am I gonna book you for battles? How is anybody from New York gonna respect what the fukk what ya’ll did?”
Elsewhere in the interview, Aspect One said that the battle wasn’t the right setting for the fight.
“Diz I’ve known for 15 years,” he said. “I thought that was the most p*ssy move you could have ever done. If you was really about that fight and being about that fight, you would have fought him in New York when Total Slaughter was in the house. You feel me? It was only other battle rappers, it wasn’t your goons there with you. And I fukk with his goons. But your goons fukked up that night. Ya’ll fukked up. No matter how you look at it. I don’t care.”

Addressing his more than decade-long relationship with Dizaster, Aspect One also hinted that the punch was completely out of character.
“Diz, you are not about that motherfukking life bro,” he said. “You have never punched somebody in a battle. In the 15 years that I’ve known you, white tee, fukking dressing-like-Sisqo Diz to change-your-whole-steez Diz. I’ve known you fool. I treated you like a fukking brother.”
During his interview with Battle Rap, the KOTDWC President also detailed his ground-view perspective of the fight itself.
“Myself and a couple other people are in the mix,” he said. “Daylyt is holding my arm back on camera. I thought he was trying to break it up. He’s holding my arm back, laughing. This not real, you fools all fukked up. We fukked up as a coast. Myself as the leader of the Fresh Coast, Lush, Active, Daylyt, Dizaster. We all fukked up.”
When asked about moving forward after the incident, Aspect One said he wants to “see motherfukkers fix this problem.”
“I wanna see fools go to New York and go to an event and get love for it,” he continued. “Not New York, pack’em out, beat’em up on some crazy shyt. I wanna see motherfukkers like Diz go to New York and Sara Kana, Poison Pen, and Smack be like, ‘Yo, you fools are protected when the wolves could really get’em.’”
