aiight..aiight...something did just hit me...the reason why these "retired" rappers/battlers don't fit in this ratchet setting is because the battle community is like a big ass family who has dirt on each other....Em really has no material to match with this Full House....it's like you and your clique crackin' jokes and one of em has a new friend that just showed up in the circle the day before and he tries to say somethin' funny and everyone is like

i dont see the lack of personals bein a big issue tho, people wouldn't front on em if he just spat some fire bars i think the old nikkas just see other battlers using personals and feel pressured to try to "talk" to their first opponent,when in reality they dont have to

The concept that those removed from battle rap cant just jump back in continues to be proven though.

He literally said nothing in Rap God that would work in a rap battle. His flow was crazy and he had nice multis but none of that would be effective in a modern day rap battle format outside of KOTD and Don't Flop. Those weren't good bars.

With Eminem, people are basing this off what he USED to be and over the years people have just been accustomed to saying Eminem is a great lyricist, they don't actually back it up with dope lines. I'm not saying Eminem isn't talented enough because if he went back to his old style he could definitely do damage. But Eminem, in 2014, if he raps how he's been rapping over the last decade, he'd get demolished.

Eminem's current style kills is cyphers not battles

Thats not a good thing. The fact that you HAVE to change the way you rap on URL is terrible, which is why we got that garbage between Rex and Dizaster because Diz felt he HAD to change his style.

it aint even that, crowds in kotd and dont flip be goin crazy for extremely corny shyt alot of times, shyt you could say some overtly racist shyt and as long as you delivered it right they'd go crazy for it, and THEN get mad if a nikka tried to check someone for saying it

anyways the Total Slaughter event was garbage so im not even tryna hear about another industry nikka tryna get in the ring at the moment :smhcraig: every time a new leagues event falls on it's face we gotta turn back to URL and hope smack doesn't Real nikka Time us to death out of spite
