Drake was probably just talking shyt. Could have been drunk. I know he's a fan & as a rapper I'm sure he gets that urge to want to try it, but I don't think he would go through with it.

If I were Mook, I would feel insulted. For Drake to challenge Mook, that means he feels he could win. The reality of it is, when you watch Mook rap, he seems very beatable. However, it's completely different when you are in front of him. I couldn't imagine any mainstream artist going out of their way to challenge Lux, regardless of how he did in his last battle.

Any mainstream artist would have a mountain to climb to battle any mid-tier, yet alone top tier battle cats. It's a different jungle, you can't use them old mixtape verses to win a battle anymore. That's why cats like Cassidy is afraid to step in the ring, because they got plenty of reputation to lose.

Not just anyone could adjust and be good in battle rap. The only kind of recording artists I can see making the leap successfully are the Ab-Soul/Mickey Factz/Lupe Fiasco kind of lyricists. They'd be able to formulate punchlines and name flips without them sounding corny.
