I was doing counter-drills with this husk white guy.

Ricky Burns running scared, he beat DeMarco who was the 135 champ for the title, he beat Vincente Rodriguez for the vacant 130lb title, beat Daniel Ponce De Leon, knocked out Vincente Escobedo in 5 rounds (while Robert Guerrero went the distance with him and yet you dont complain about RG being a bad opponent for Floyd).


Who was available that he missed while he was at 130 and then at 135 that wasnt a Top Rank fighter?

i think the reason why floyd went at andre was because he's the biggest threat to his p4p status....andre cleared out one of the toughest divisions in boxing and beat down the man at 175 while floyd is fighting nikkas like robert guerrero

i was still skeptical towards broner but after the reese fight i knew he is above his competition..and burns (with his management) don't want none of broner ..

Another thing, people saying Broner is "ducking" the competition at 140?

At 147, if he chose to stay there.....which I dont think he will, has JMM/Pacquiao/Robert Guerrero/Kell Brook/Timothy Bradley/Victor Ortiz/Devon Alexander/Keith Thurman/Andre Berto/Paulie Malignaggi as top 10 opponents there. That's not a weak division at all and I didnt even include Floyd.


Comparing the 147 "easy" division to the so called "stacked" 140 who's top 10 ranking has Danny Garcia, Lucas Matthysse, Amir Khan, Lamont Peterson, Zab Judah, Brandon Rios, Khabib Allakhverdiev, Mike Alvarado, Denis Shafikov, Ruslan Provodnikov......



Broner would be fighting better top opponents at 147 to be honest.

If all these other fighters are better and they're fighting tougher competition, well guess what; I bet our bank accounts don't look the same.

168- and 175 aint tough you have a 50 year old still the second best fighters in those divisions, never before have I seen a guy gets so much unwarranted praise for fighting a bunch of B class at best fighters, in his hometown with every advantage possible, and a drug cheat Conte in his corner..............................



As far as the Mayweather Ward thing goes, its a couple things that goes into this eqaution, Mayweather is using Ward to completely cast a shadow over the Canelo Trout pressers thats taking place, and he used a non issue over Guerrero to make Ward and crew angry. On top of that Richard Schaeffer buddy Bhop already told Ward he wouldnt fight him for any amount of money, even though Ward said yesterday he would fight BHOP at 175, Ward and HBO(what they were trying to setup saturday) knowing thats Ward only sellable fight and his only big money fight available, they are playing chess 'in Ward. And then FLoyd tried to send the signal that you are not getting big money fights cause of your management, and that he needs to be where he's at, the only way he gets the Money and fights he want is coming to GB/Haymon, thats the only way he get the BHOP fight. Now their is talks of Bhop dropping to 168 and fight Froch Wards only other money fight.........GB and crew is trying to court Ward who has no fights and career is in shambles and they are already ten steps ahead of his ass, poking him from every single direction(even Bhop trying to court showtime after his fight, when HBO wants the Ward match obviousky), and they even let FLoyd get some in on Ward
