So you ain't mad at the winner of the Tournament fighting Khan....You mad at the way it is presented??:mindblown:

Breh Khan was knocked into next week by Danny Garcia....nikka had them new born baby Giraffe legs....GBP jus trying to build him back up that's all... doin they Job....Khan talks a lot of shyt which gains fans interest, he still got fans, I don't see why he wouldn't be next in line for the winner

I dont have a problem with that, in fact I am all for it. I am just pointing out the promotion. Skip says the winner is the best and they face Khan, the first challenger. Read the article I posted. Khan says its a 5 man tourney and he cant fight in the middle of the year due to Ramadan....which proves that he wont take another fight after the Diaz fight.

We say the best is the winner of those fights and they face Khan. Khan says no one is best til they face him. Semantics...but still. Its being billed as a 5 man tourney with one guy fighting once and the others fighting twice in that period.

David Price will meet Tony Thompson in a rematch at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Saturday 6th July. Secret negotiations between Price’s promoter Frank Maloney and the Washington DC southpaw have been going on for two weeks. Contracts for the big 12 round international heavyweight return were finally signed late on Tuesday night. When the pair clashed last month, two-time world title challenger Thompson caused a monumental upset stopping the 6ft 8in scouser in the second round.

Maloney said, “There was a rematch clause in the original contract, but it was still far from easy to make it happens. Because it was such a big win for Thompson there was a lot of interest in him from rival promoters, but we got there and he has signed. There were other options for David also, but he and his trainer Franny Smith were adamant they wanted Thompson again

Repeat I hope :youngsabo:

I'm not even hype about FMJ fighting Robert Guerrero.

First of all, this fight should be 5-1 odds in favor of Money Mayweather. Robert Guerrero is not a threat to beat Floyd at all and hasnt even shown that he DESERVES to fight him.

His biggest victories are over Andre Berto (who hasnt beaten anyone and he heavily struggled against Luis Collazo), Selcuk Aydin (who hasnt beaten anyone either and just lost to Jesus Soto Karass :heh: ), and an old ass Joel Casamayor.

People are acting as if Floyd is fighting a competitive opponent, who "has a chance" of beating Floyd:ufdup:

I'd be suprised if the Final Scores arent 118-110 or at LEAST 117-111.

Best thing about this fight, is that we get to see Floyd Mayweather fight again. Other than that, this is going to be a sparring session.

Is pacquiao slowing? Maybe but he's not declining. He was jobbed against Bradley and was ahead on the cards and close to finishing jmm before he got caught. Now if he's dominated from start and stopped by whoever he's facing next (like Roy vs glen johnson after he was ko'ed by tarver) then I'll believe it

Kedu!

Like I said not everyone can take advantage, but his level of performance has dropped. Hasn't shown that brilliance since Cotto, and since then be it because his opponent hasn't played ball (Clottey) or simply they've stuck it on him Margarito he hasn't looked great.

Jones' downfall was massive and quick, I think Pac is so good and the chasing pack may not be up to scratch enough for him to get dominated but where he was blowing fighters away, he will begin to struggle.

Odi mma!

yeah that clottey fight was a huge disappointment....clottey showed none of the fire he displayed when he faced fighters like corrales, judah, margarito, cotto...he was just overhwhelmed but the few punches he did land did mark up pac's face something serious...i chalked that up as an off night lol...its funny about that margarito fight it was a hard fight for pac for sure but the beating he put on margarito was so brutal and thorough that i thought the only punishment pac experienced was landing the punches on margo lol..we'll see 147 is wide open..after this weekend we'll get pac-rios or pac-alvarado

I didnt watch Mayweather-Cotto so you know I aint pumped about this. Even though I knew Cotto would be a competitive fight, I was never interested in it because Cotto is not a great fighter and I didnt feel he was a threat to beat May either. Cotto however is on a whole nother level than Guerrero. Guererro beat Berto decisively, but he didnt dominate him. He knocked him down twice and still only won by 6 points. So take away the knockdowns and that fight is a draw or goes the other way.

Guererro is a good fighter but he has never impressed me for all the hype he has received throughout his career. Too bad Salido got popped because he whooped Guererro. He couldnt handle the movement and combination punching of Salido. Salido didnt need PEDs to beat him. Ghost has always been a fighter who was hyped and had good management and promotion that allowed him to go from division to division and "easily" pick up titles. Like he did against Aiken, Abazi, Klassen, and Katsidis. Good fighters but definitely between B and C level. Fact is, he is overhyped but has great marketability. He is the perfect opponent for this occasion.

I will go out on a limb and say Guererro is less of a threat to May than Paulie is to Broner.

i wouldnt compare Jones Jr fall to hardly anyone. here is a guy with superhuman speed and reflexes...once he came down to regular human level, he was beatable because of his neglect of fundamental skills. Mayweather eventhough he may have lost some speed, he is still too far ahead because he is much better technically and fundamentally than Jones Jr.

Pac....well, he is not the most technical, but good enough IF he fights the right fighters. he is entering the zone where if he faces certain fighters that have physical advantages over him, it will be tough. he was never a guy who was going to sustain a long career into his 30's due to his style. still, its gonna take more than a B-level fighter to beat him.

:aicmon:

The Clottley fight was clearly a fight where Clottley was paid to lose, Arum said Clottley got a bonus and all, and after the fight, Clottley started to send mysterious messages about his performance also, then packed his bags and ran away before the fire got too hot, there is a reason networks aint touching Clottley, and Clottley having like 1 fight since. He got paid to take a ass whipping, point blank period
