The Sweet Science
So you've just resorted to trolling?? Why??
The bs make believe strap Thurman holds makes him Floyds mandatory. . Why would he skip a mandatory to get another belt that doesn't even matter from a nobody?

Breh I pulled random names out my ass to make a point one you can't and haven't refuted. To answer your totally unrelated response...Floyd is the real champ one time holds a make believe strap

Dan Rafael chat wrap 6/27:

- Crawford moving up to 140 after this fight. His team doesn't want to test the waters, want to jump in and start fighting good fighters and get a 140 lb strap.
- Picking Crawford to beat Gamboa (on points). Gamboa is a monster talent...he is just hasn't shown all his potential yet.
- Judge Lisa Giampa is married to Chuck Giampa who works for Golden Boy owned Ring Magazine. Lisa Giampa should not have been appointed to Loma-GRJ as she has a vested interest in GB. She scored it 114-114.
- Ruslan and Bradley will not fight in the Fall, if they schedule a rematch.
- Kathy Duva's suit against Al Haymon is arguing that Haymon acts as a manager/advisor and promoter, which he is not allowed to take part in promoter activities.
- Porter-Brook is still on...eta expected to be 9/6.
- Fury-Chisora winner will be the mandatory for Wlad.
- Rigo-Loma isn't a guaranteed fight. More likely options for Loma (due to popularity and more financial incentive) are Donaire, Gradovich, and Walters.
- Doesn't think a Cotto-Bradley fight gets made.
- Kirkland is nowhere to be found right now in mentions to when he will fight next...leaving Clottey as a name being thrown around for Andrade's next opponent.
- He does not blame Garcia or Peterson for the 8/9 cards. They have proven to take fights vs. anyone. He blames Showtime and their advisors (Haymon) for being the ones who actually negotiated and sold the fight.
- Talked to Broner recently. Waiting to hear what his date is for the Fall. No word on opponents. Fight will be at 140.
- Canelo-Angulo did in the 300 k's for buys. Due to the glut of recent PPV's and that Lara has a smaller fan base than Angulo he expects this PPV to have less buys.
- Chris Algieri is not being seriously considered for Pacquiao's next fight.
- GB has reached out to Jhonny Gonzalez about defending against Ronny Rios in the Fall.
- Felt Guerrero's fight was entertaining, but Guerrero was not very impressive.
- Arum is mentioning that Rios-Alvarado 3 could take place this fall or early next year.
- Hopkins-Stevenson have not started negotiations yet.
- Depending on your market this weekend is a free preview for HBO and Cinemax. No struggle streams for those without.
- Sergio Mora told him that he made a mistake not taking the Jermain Taylor fight when it was offered.
- Abner Mares is now being trained by Virgil Hunter
- Mike Tyson's ratings on HBO cable fights got ratings over 10 million viewers. (I found this http://www.nytimes.com/1995/12/19/sports/tv-sports-it-s-tyson-or-nothing-for-free-tv.html :whoo:)
- Ali-Spinks 2 in 1978 on ABC had 90 million viewers.
- Sergio Martinez was checked out after the fight and the report was there was no damage to his knee.
- Koborov is on the undercard tomorrow and HBO is trying to invest in more MW fights because they are trying to find more opponents for GGG.

:obama: I like that

I switched my pick to Crawford as well. Crawford may have too much size and skill for Gamboa, even though Gamboa is talented as hell. He's kinda gotten lazy in his punching output and that works in Crawford's favor

:ohhh:

Loma beats every fighter from 122-130 not named Rigo:ufdup:

Thank goodness:whew:

Exactly. Broner, Garcia, Peterson, Matthysse, Alexander have never turned down an opponent. My Ohio Advisor is the blame:snoop:

#BandCamp news....dont even ask me how:sas2:

Sad @Black_Jesus:heh:

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!:bryan

good shyt as always

Crawford prolly wants Algieri next although I really wanted him to take Vazquez's belt off him
James Kirkland needs to fight, one more bad fight that he struggles in or loses and his career would be in some shyt. He better do it soon before Ann's type of training starts fukking him up.
I'd welcome a clottey-andrade fight
Pac-Algieri not a serious fight..as it shouldn't be..Chris needs to put in work first
Cosigns Fat Dan on ghost's performance..as most people said..damned good fight but not a good look for him
Rios-Alvarado 3 - calling it mad early but it will be a FOTY candidate and somebody will be finished after this fight..they better put this on a PPV undercard or build a card around it
Free preview weekends dont affect me since I pay for my premiums :obama:
I expect that Korobov - Uzcategui to be a gotdamn shootout tomorrow..i hope im not proven wrong

Your point was stupid.. Pac doesn't have a title at 140 therefore if he moves down to 140 he should want to fight the only champion in his stable at 140, which is Algeiri.. You came with this dumb ass argument that if thats the case, Floyd, who is already the WBC and Super WBA ww champ, should fight Van Hardeen, just because Van Hardeen has an unrecognized belt instead of Thurman, who is #1 contender for his title for Floyds strap... Like I said, your point was stupid as fukk

Thurman's strap isn't make believe either.. when you win one of these titles it puts you directly into contention for whoever the champion is.. interim straps are the best way to determine #1 contenders..you should know this.. If Floyd wins, the strap wont go into the garbage dummy.. They will get two more top contenders to fight for it and the winner will be #1 contender

Who you got though?

Im thinking this is an underrated great fight, that isnt getting the hype it deserves. Im hoping Gamboa can finally rise up and stake his claim as the best fighter at 135 (its either Mikey Garcia, Gamboa, or Crawford...even though Crawford is moving up to 140 after this fight).

If Crawford wins this, Im gonna be fully sold on him and he's officially the goods like @synistr been saying since last year.

I got Crawford breh. Look at Gamboa breh. Dude has no stamina and he s reckless. Always looking for ko punches. The work Crawford gonna put on Gamboa will make 50 resell his promoting license breh. :wow:
