He’s got drafted to the best situation for his long term developmental. Hosuton or Orl would’ve rushed it. OKC has precedent with his body type and will take their time and properly develop him. Even that fanbase is patient
Nah he will be starting next year and will be an impact player and ROY candidate. He doesn't play to his size he plays physical as shyt. You don't have to be physically developed to play in today's league.

You don't need to be built to play in today's league. His size is a non-factor outside of injury potential cause he plays like a banger. He will go down as the most impactful player in this draft.
So you said why he needs to build his leg strength up and agreed with me. You also agreed with me saying he is bustproof.

With Chet, my issue is what I saw in the tournament. When the competition got stronger, he was way less effective on O. He became a sort of secondary player. Not quick enough to beat his guy off the dribble, not strong enough to finish in the paint. I think he will be a fine defensive player, high impact rim protector but I don’t ever see him as a go-to guy on the other end. I think he will have a career where he makes the all star game a handful of times but far from a franchise altering player.

This is how I see him. I think he’ll be good not great even though he has “great” potential. But there ain’t nothing wrong with that. You can win with that. OKC should be one of the league leaders in fast break points. Them boys should run and gunning all game

I don’t know about ‘bust’ but these analytics baby analysts continue to ignore that it’s a guard and wing league. You can be as skilled as you wanna be, you still ain’t more skilled than a guard, so we not running stuff through you. So they gonna pidgeon hole you to get your ass under the basket and grab some boards…and oh yea stand at the 3 point line and hit 3s *when I pass it to you*

So if you’re not good enough to be a primary guy—the list starts and stops with KAT, Embiid, Jokic, AD—-literally the elite of elite players, then you’re relegated to play the background.

Folk should go watch Kevon Looney’s HS tape. Dude has skills. But in todays game no one cares go get your ass in the post.

He'll be fine.

I was on the fence a couple of months ago, but with how the league is trending, he isn't going to need size to get his shot off or work. Wingspan is gonna carry him until he decides to smarten up and get on that Giannis workout stimulus.

I think you’ll find it’s the other way round. They’re not the ones ignoring it. They’re not the ones calling for the traditional big to make a return.
