For sure. I'm going to try to get mine, too. I hear the new county sheriff in my area on the permissive side. Calguns has a lot of people who post their causes that clear from county to county.

I'd check locally. Big box stores like cabelas, bass pro, sportmans outdoor, Academy, even local gun shops and ranges should have that since they are the most popular pistol. Otherwise all those stores have websites.

ya glocks are easy to find once again, a few months ago it was hell to get one lol. get a 2 year gssf membership and you'll get a coupon that gets you law enforcement pricing on all glocks once a year, most glock dealers accept these. for example a blue label gen3 g19 is $398 on primaryarms.

cci standard velocity and aguila super extra hv are my favorite 22 ammo, aguila smells like cat piss tho lol

winchester white box, remington golden bullets, thunderbolts, and the federal hollowpoints in the light blue box are all awful

there's a test of defensive 22 ammo here, i only skimmed the results but none of them look useful

nah breh you did good, i never shot that kind before but copper plated is generally a little cleaner than lead and the ticket on it wasn't bad either

It depends on your gun. Some guns eat it just fine, others don't like it. My boy has a 10/22 and that gun cannot fire Winchester consistently, eats everything else fine, and we have another cat that has a 10/22 his eats Winchester just fine.

I'll shoot white box all day. It can be dirty but that's a plus for me cause I enjoy cleaning my guns after a long shooting session.
