In an interview with Polygon, the Philippous confirmed that Bring Her Back and Talk to Me take place in the same universe, and said they’re probably going to set all their horror movies there. (Though they are taking on unconnected projects: their next film is a documentary about deathmatch wrestling, due out later in 2025.)

“It's a website you can visit where [Bring Her Back character] Laura purchased this tape from,” Danny Philippou told Polygon via video. “It’s sort of like a dark-web-feeling marketplace where they sell all these fukked-up occult items. That's something we're working on now, in between press stuff.”

It'll be pretty cool if any of the items on the site turn up in future movies.

'Bring Her Back' made about $27M on a $15M budget. I only bring that up because I'm hoping they continue to have their projects green lit and I think they will. They have the critical success for sure.

You'd probably like to see that budget trimmed a little bit unless 'Bring Her Back' ends up being a huge success on streaming and VOD.

We just got out so I'm gonna keep this brief. She's already looking up theories online

We thought it was excellent. I loved the concept and the layout of the film. It was creepy sure but it had a very slow burn that was giving us just enough tidbits to keep us guessing, keep us engaged.

Brehs... when you figure out what's going on this shyt gets wild and the third act does not let up. It's an emotional rollercoster at that point and we was just spazzing in there lol...

I'm definitely gonna rewatch as soon as I can cause these theories and allegories she's hittin me with are already

And yeah, the older I get, the more I gravitate toward this brand of psychological horror, where the "monster" isn’t some supernatural creature, but the unraveling within. One of the main reasons why I fukked with Bring Her Back from this year.
