I watched the subbed version. I generally try to watch subbed before dubbed, and it's literally thanks to watching a bunch of anime get butchered by the dubbed versionsDid you watch the dubbed or the subbed version?
For this one, I found the dubbed version to be on a bad anime level of voiceover.
( like Star Blazers, 3rd series bad) (Space Battleship Yamato, for the purists!)
That killed it for me - I watched the subbed version years later, and it was much better.

Even the subs had me a little iffy though, because even with the tiny bit of Spanish I can follow, I caught some translations not matching up particularly well.
I appreciate dubs because I know a ton of people won't watch a movie if they have to read subtitles, but I really think it makes a massive difference to watch horror movies in their original language. I can't even imagine Thesis if it was dubbed. It'd go from an elite thriller (imo) to a something campy and unintentionally funny in a heartbeat.
