Im just finding out bout the site shutting down? Is there a thread on the new site?

There is a clear winner. The coli2 or newcoli, onlybrehs , or whatever the hell they decide to name is the clear choice right now. They got 500 users and climbing.

Hell I'ma not a good wild hair from starting a diaco di group Just for this thread., not so to post , but just than when the inevitable happens we can all go to the next site. I just wish @Jello Biafra and some of the other posters that do not post much anymore was aware of what was going on.

I thought 'Deadstream' had it's highs and lows. First, I think it was a creative addition to the found footage subgenre. It definitely fit with the times we're in and dude was annoying as fukk like most streamers are Lol. But that had it's drawbacks as well because his voice was grating and getting to me after a while. I wanted that guy to just get fukked up lol.

Da fucc did I just watch? :mjlol:

I didn't really have any expectations going into it, but I def didn't think it was gonna be a full fledged satire of Internet clout chasing---mfs doing anything for a like or subscribe :russ:

This was sum lil funny, low budget type shyt tho, all said & done lol. They knew what they wanted to do/be and delivered for the most part.

Why she waterboard that man wit his own piss tho?? :dead:

Forgot to mention I watched 'Bone Tomahawk' the other day. I love genre-bending, this was a cool attempt at a western/horror and I'm always gonna like my guy Kurt Russell in almost anything he's involved in. I thought this was decent, not great. The actual horror elements to me weren't as good as the cowboy shyt that was going on. It's worth the watch though.

31 Days of Horror Marathon 2025 - Day Four: Deadstream

4. Deadstream (Tubi, AMC+/Shudder)

5. Messiah of Evil (Tubi, Plex, Pluto)
6. The Stepfather (1987) ((Tubi, Xumo, Plex, Philo)
7. Starry Eyes (2014) (Tubi)

On call this weekend and one of the interfaces decided to fukk up so i was on all night

so I watched the list until the processing caught up

4) Deadstream - as most of you know - I despise found footage, for no reason in particular, its just a preference
Phuck found As A Staff, movie studio And As A Muthafuken Crew, :russ:

when it came on and i realized it was found footage this was my reaction

With all that being said - I watched like 30 minutes at a time and would watch one of the other flicks until i finished this one

the movie is not bad, its actually entertaining, and thats saying a lot , cause i have had some battles in the past with some posters about found footage
maybe i'm getting more agreeable as I age
, it reminded me of a live action evil dead, and the statement it makes on the depths these cancelled streamers go to trying to win back fans was spot on

5) messiah of evil
very tense 70's thriller /horror, with an understated weirdness factor
the Argento /Lynch influences can be seen throughout
weird that the hotel room was 237 . made me think of the Shining
the mix of subgenres just work with this one

6) the stepfather

Terry O'Quinn acted his @$$ off in this move
"oh, right, Who am i?"
(I find he was Underrated as Peter Watts in Millennium and great as John Lock in lost)
Generally a forgotten 80's horror gem that i put up there with the best of the 80's
Nikka was on some GangStarr "ex girl, to the next girl", near the end though
how methodical this nikka was is numbing, but you see shyt like this in the news more frequently now.
May cach the sequel when i get more time, heard the third one was basura

7) starry eyes
this movie melds, body, slasher and indie cult slower paced horror excellently
Its like Black swan with a machete
the slow transformation of the main character was well written and well acted
oh, and her friends sucked, btw (snitching, petty ahh nikkas)

Quick question about Salems Lot- we watching the original 70's mini series
ain't that shy like 4-6 hours long? its been awhile since i watched it
