That Miles crossover was terrible. I have to think that the Miles Morales writer did most of the writing for it.
That Maker's Return crossover needs to hurry up and get here. Outside of Ultimate Wolverine, the Ultimate books aren't quite as good as they once were.

Yea I feel some of the books are starting to suffer because of this. Ultimates in particular feels like it’s threading water. These episodic origin stories for the ever expanding cast are mostly well done but start to feel less like an Avengers book and more like reading a personalized Encyclopedia.

i.e. the Thor/Sif and Luke Cage one-offs were cool… but ok? lol. Bc they’re mostly wallpaper status on the team with nothing to do.

I thought they had something interesting with Sif back in issue #1 but they let it fade away.
