While we're at it. Anyone got any sleeper recommendations? Anything under the radar you would recommend? I'm barely reading anything nowadays.

Gwen

Poor Jonah :mjlol:

MJ :obama:

Art was bad this time around, first time Messina can't really step up to the situation. I hope Checheto is the one drawing the final four issues....

...man, only four issues left :sadbron:

Im enjoying the Ghost Machine books. Geiger, Redcoat, and Rook.

Holy shyt try The Power Fantasy if you haven't. Everybody should.

underrated past stuff? I'll always recommend the 2012 Valiant run. Excellent stuff. Criminally underrated.

Also try The Sixth Gun if you wanna read one long self contained story.

Fear Agent if you just want some flat out science fiction fukkery. Black Science if you want a different flavor of flat out science fiction fukkery.

The Sword and Girls by The Luna Brothers. Id recommend Ultra, too. But that might not be your cup of tea.

Warren Ellis' non-"mainstream" stuff still holds up very well, IMO: Global Frequency, Gravel, Black Summer, FreakAngels, No Hero

Luckily this isnt the Manga thread. I'd list so much shyt it would look like an old school Yellow Pages book.

I was :mjlol: at the whole murder mystery being useless and then She-Hulk losing her shyt at Hulk being lat :dead:

Waiting @Primetime review of the Black Panther tie in :lupe:

I liked it :ehh:

Granted, the inner monologue early on reminded me of Hudlin’s run, which I knew immediately would put off some “purists” lol but i thought the writer did a good job for a mostly setup issue.

In general I just think it’s a refreshing pivot to explore space politics

Imperial is better than it should be. Like the concept is a mess but Hickman has it going along smoothly. The Tie ins wasn’t bad either.

Justice League Unlimited has been pretty good, the Mr. Terrific solo was good.

I don’t blame you there isn’t anything “big” going on in none of the books.

It was said before but Fear Agent is a personal favorite mind. If you haven’t read Planetary give it a read it’s a classic. Kings Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is really good, though it might be spoilers for the Movie. C.O.W.L and C.O.W.L. 1964 are good reads.

Right now my favorite books are basically anything by Hickman or King, but I am also reading “The Power Fantasy” and “Radiant Black”. I am also reading Absolute Wonder Woman. The new Ultimates is good, but it feels like they got an editorial mandate to stall the end game of the series.
