:why:WTF they have Miles calling himself “Spin” now? Hopefully that bs doesn’t stick. Let homie stay Spider-Man don’t tell me Marvel is bending the knee.

He's pretty much miles morales everywhere else. Kinda funny that they use a kids show title to tag him with. But I guess you gotta get prepared for the next generation of fans. Better than jersey spider man

No, I think now the whole dynamic has changed.
Yeah they are going to kill each other. He was the benevolent one keeping them from killing each other. He even told them, look this is why we all exist, and then died.

Though I have a feeling he may have sent one more “command” before he died.

Possibly to have them destroy each other and let the non super atomics live.

It would be the only ethical thing to do in the face of an apocalypse.

I see what you're saying. He was basically the living embodiment of a nuclear peace treaty.
I don't think they immediately kill each other. I think its purposeful that 1999 is the present. I'm expecting the story to reach 2025 and if they kill each other, that basically ensures the end of earth.

A week late but I really liked the Batman/Deadpool crossover by DC. The Laura/dikk Grayson story by Tom Taylor was probably my favorite out of all of the crossovers done this year.

And Morrison going full Morrison with the Batman and Deadpool stuff was fun as hell :russ:

I say James Gunn should make “Absolute Batman” into his DC Universe Batman. Do something bold & refreshing with the character.

Absolute Batman #14 :wow:

Joker doing that to Bane and telling him it was a reward to help him focus on work…..

He’s really is just as scary as the main line Joker.

DC K.O. is so fun. I wasn't sure what to expect but DC is killing Marvel right now, especially with the Ultimate universe about to end.
The ultimate universe isn't as good as the absolute universe. I am not going to lie at this point I want the Maker to come back and the end game to go off. I think a lot of it is going to come down to the fact that Doom knows the Maker is another Reed, but that’s just my theory.

I see what you're saying. He was basically the living embodiment of a nuclear peace treaty.

I still think that everything isn't as it seems

I keep thinking about the fortune teller and how Etienne said her powers basically killed quantum possibilities and narrowed the future.

I think if given a dark prophecy of the atomics fighting each other the only ethical thing to do would be to limit the casualties and that is why I think he knowingly did everything that he did. Including basically killing/labotimizing future atomics as soon as he identified them. He limited the amount of atomics to limit the casualties of the non atomics. Because I agree with you they are absolutely going to kill each other. He was the only one keeping the peace. None of them including the angel are rational actors.

Etienne was also in Heavy’s head before he jettisoned him into space. Its not like him to not snoop to see what was going on. I still think this is according to his plan.

The X-Men Stand Together in 'X-Men United'

This March, 'X-Men United,' a bold new ongoing X-Men series by Eve L. Ewing and Tiago Palma, reopens the door to the X-Men's school for mutantkind!

xmenunited_2026_cover.jpg

This March, the X-Men come together to build a new way for mutantkind to thrive in X-MEN UNITED! The previously-teased series, part of the line’s upcoming SHADOWS OF TOMORROW era, will be by written by Eve L. Ewing, following her acclaimed work on EXCEPTIONAL X-MEN, and drawn by Tiago Palma, the rising star who made his Marvel Comics debut earlier this year in NEW AVENGERS.

The ambitious series unites the entire X-tapestry—from different generations, factions, and eras—under one, eXciting initiative, turning the classic concept of a school for mutants on its head with the introduction of Graymatter Lane! Founded by Emma Frost and with faculty including Wolverine, Magneto, Beast, Rogue and Storm and guest instructors from throughout the Marvel Universe, Graymatter Lane is more than simply an academy—it's the central hub for mutant interaction across the world and beyond! This venture represents a bold undertaking that requires all hands on deck, but not all of the X-Men are ready to embrace the idea of another mutant institute for higher learning!
