Mostly just the fall-out from Rebirth since a lot of books have recently (re)started so more people are buying them. Eventually they'll probably start dropping a couple of books and the sales will settle in.

Still crazy though, I remember when Marvel was basically manhandling DC completely outside of Batman and anything Johns wrote.

Civil War II made a lot of people mad as hell.

yeah, don't nobody wanna read that shyt.

Top it all off, the dumb ass "event" has absolutely nothing to do with the Cap movie, and nobody outside comics even knows who the Inhumans are, so they lost whatever new fans they might have gained as well.

Yeah, and on top of that, the story is just :dahell: with killing off War Machine like that.

Yeah, it's wild. Can't remember ever seeing anything like it.

I don't read monthlies, but I casually keep in touch with what's going on in them. Always thought CW2 sounded like a bad idea and cash grab for Captain America: Civil War. I haven't seen anyone praise this story online at all. I've been watching Comics Explained on YouTube talk about Secret Wars (and the lead up to it) and all of that sounds awful as well.
