Ultimate Spiderman: I can't wait until The Maker comes back so they can hopefully stop these monthly time jumps. It's an interesting device to play around with but it hurts the storytelling.

Hickman did an interview a couple of weeks ago were he basically said the monthly thing was a cool gimmick that worked but they are stopping it once the Maker returns. I'm not sure Hickman will continue to write USM post Maker though

Yeah, nice mystery Hickman came up with. I have no idea who are the two people behind the machinations in Imperial (I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to Marvel cosmic) but my guess is that Wakanda is doing this because they are retaliating over something that traced back to the Council so they see it as them starting the war and not the other way around.
