‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ ends, but Marvel’s biggest Ultimate event is just beginning

I hope he actually puts some effort instead of that bullshyt he's doing with Miles in Ultimate Incursion![]()

The signs of Hickman not finishing this Ultimate Universe run were there from a while ago though. Camp has been the one writing everything about the bigger plot involving the Maker and the "council" since he started writing the Ultimates. Hickman showing up and taking over Endgame was wishful thinking for the most partWhatever that miniseries was supposed to be, it's been terrible and feels premature. Miles imo would've been better introduced to this Ultimate universe whenever the Maker returned, and in a way where he fully realizes the scope and depravity of what the Maker did after he tried to recruit Miles in the preamble issue a year or 2 ago. As opposed to this unserious sibling fetch quest BS storyline.
Tho that's also part of my critique of this Ultimate line of books: i loved the premise and was onboard with them building towards this ultimate (no pun) "pay off" aka the Maker's return, but they're dragging their feet on getting to it (most notable in Ultimates, imo, but even Ult BP has pretty much moved on from the Khonsu henchmen). I'm no longer seeing the vision, and now Hickman wouldn't even be writing the payoff?
That's disappointing. Yall already know i'm pro-rebooting the 616 and not that i expected that to ever happen or for Ultimates line to takeover this time around but i was optimistic Hickman would really make this his sandbox.

And I'm pretty sure all these books are getting relaunched next year, if Hill wants to stay in UBP he'll probably be able to stay. I really like that book, it's a such an easy and fast read. I've said this before but it feels like a nice 20 minute animated show. Doesn't blow you away but it keeps you entertained and engaged![]()

I just don't care about his love life tbhI was with you on UBP until the most predictable heel turn/swerve that we saw coming since, like, issue 2
Can we for the love of Bast just give T'Challa a different love interest in any universe?
Wanda, Psylocke, Squirrel Girl, Mary Jane Watson, i don't even care
Can a writer just think outside the box![]()

Jeff Lemire runAnybody got some suggestions on the best Green Arrow runs to read?

I care about the character progression, which unfortunately been 60% centered on his love life since Priest revived the book 27 years ago
BP is basically the J Cole of superheroes. GOAT features but his solo albums put nyggas to sleep (exaggeration ofc, Cole’s albums are much better than BP’s solo content… but you get my point) bc he basically reverts to Tyrese Gibson’s character from baby boy, with Storm playing the role of his baby mama and mother![]()

Would you suggest to read them in that order, or read them in any order?Jeff Lemire run
