I been a PSG fan a lot longer than that, it's well documented on here and as for Liverpool... they were outplayed in both legsOnly Arsenal kept up and their problem was they couldn't finish and still haven't found a striker
lmao the tie vs Arsenal was literally over after 5 minutes when Dembele stroked that goal in. They didnt need to get out of 2nd gear after that. The Villa and Liverpool games were a lot harder for PSG. I hate this XG shyt, it doesn't give an accurate representation of a game at all
It's not perfect but I feel xG is the best metric to get an get an overview of the qualities of chances. I prefer the xG plots vizualisation though, it gives helps see momentum as well
You can see between minutes 55 and 75, PSG were badly in danger and that's how it felt watching the game as well.

Ngl I was initially not too enthusiastic about his signing but I certainly warmed up to him and he was a big part from the start of the Kloppo era that got us back to where we belong
xG is great data but in how they presented the data in relation to a two legged tie is intellectually dishonest. PSG could have a xG advantage of 2+ in the first leg and then get "outplayed" in the second leg but still be up 2 goals on actual aggregate.
Furthermore Arsenal's xG is so high because the sitter Saka missed was as close to a penalty (the highest xG chance there is) you can get.
As a person who watched all the games, Villa gave PSG the best game over two legs, and Liverpool could have shyt housed a victory. Arsenal had no chance.

I'll agree that Villa was the most "dangerous" team PSG played. Through both legs I never feared Liverpool or Arsenal's ability to finish. I said Arsenal was the tougher tie because they were the one team that was able to get PSG out of rhythm on offense. Even though Villa was dangerous, PSG was still getting most of what they wanted at their end.
