I've been screaming for Laca/Auba as dual strikers for the longest. It's also clear that Arteta told Lakonga "mark Buendia like fukking glue". When the two holding mids stay mid and let the forwards be forward it can be really effective.

Also, like I've also said. This team needs a link between mid and attack. Lacazette as basically a CF or False 9 works because Auba, Saka and ESR want to interplay. shyt will really pop off once those 4 get their rhythm in check and can ping in the one touch stuff.

But also...its Villa.

People said that last week was the best 11 and I personally don't think so. Swap in Tierney for Tavares and Xhaka (eugh) for Lakonga and THEN its the best 11.

Yh Lacazette putting work in. Tbh the whole team looking better than I've seen them recently... Pressing on fleek.. From Auba/Laca at the top all the way down... Winning the ball back as soon they lose it.. . They're suffocating Villa who've had no attempts or shots on target. Crispier passing overall. Only thing is I feel like arsenal are not getting enough balls into the box... That final ball is also lacking
