Joe by himself would only work if it became a guest based podcast.

Trying to do a show by yourself is hard.

Think about the current most popular podcast. They typically have at least 2 host, sometimes 3.

The podcast with only one person is either guest based (Rogan, Call Her Daddy, Diary of a CEO) or focused a lot on politics, like Tucker Carlson.

It worked for Bill Burr, might randomly hear his wife pass by and say some typical wife shyt once every 3-4 episodes but it's usually just him

It’s been proven Joe needs co-hosts.The episodes with just him and Rory had the show on life support. They were terrible until Mal came along. Then when they left he was dead in the water until Ish came.

His “Humans” series and 1 on 1 interviews are trash which is why he doesn’t do them anymore. He’s not a good interviewer at all.

His best content was always centered around group settings and that’s going all the way back to JBTV and the Tahiry days.
