apparently GSP was just on a french talk show and said he won't fight Anderson Silva.
He said Anderson Silva walks around at 234 and he walks around at 188.

Glad he flat out said he wouldn't do it. I'm not gonna hate on him like others, though. He has absolutely zero obligation to change weight classes.

Yeah true that. People wanna see the sliva vs jones fight more so to see someone lose than the actual fight in my opinion. Same with this fight.
But I can honestly say the UFC brand tho it has expanded commercial wise I think. As a mma fan it really stretched it self thin. And these "super" fights that we wanna see shouldn't be like that. UFC has put up tons of faces up to the public eye and yet only so many really none of them has caught the public eye or no one really cares.
what gets me is, the same ppl that were dogging silva for staying @ 185(despite performaces @ 205) are praising GSP for not moving up. The media hates us darkies no matter what ethnicity we are......its so demonic.

Yea, I'm not feining for the GSP/Silva fight as much as the Jones/Silva fight. Both of those guys look unbeatable. I can't even say what'll happen though I'm still putting my money on Jones because of pure freak physique.
I rather see Diaz/GSP and Silva/Jones. Both of those fights would sell like crazy. Pat Barry tweeted yesterday that he's at 208 lbs. I wouldn't mind seeing Silva or Jones fight a small heavyweight like Pat either to warm up for the superfight.

I have ZERO interest in Jones VS Silva. Jones would kill Anderson. I don't know why anyone would want to see that. He can take him down and sub him at any time he'd like. Jones is the strongest LHW on the planet. He'd have no problem with Silva. The only Jones fights i'm interest in are at Heavyweight.
Silva needs to just fight Bisping/Rockhold/etc... And GSP needs to fight Diaz/Hendricks/Maia. etc..
MW is the most stacked it's ever been with SF coming in and WW is stacked as well.
Throw the superfights in the bushes. Even though it's good business since the UFC is hurting they'd help pull the brand back up.

We're going back to this again. He cant do any of these things. He couldnt even finish BOnnar, who just got retired by anderson. I hope this is andersons retirement fight. He walks around at 225 and has already agreed to a catchweight fight that isnt a title fight. He is going to give Jones a good match.
He'd obviously a lot better now.
Plus that doesn't matter. That's like saying Anderson couldn't even finish Maia. It doesn't mean anything.

Maia was playing like a coward and Anderson has mercy on Brazillian grapplers because they have to go back home and eat at their academies. Not, on Americans.
to play advocate its worse to folks because GSP wins safe but convincingly most instances so he seems competitive in his class
Silva keeps beating these cats in humiliating ways that make them question what exactly they're trying to accomplish in life. That's where the "pick on someone your own size" sentiment stems from.

As we've seen recently with Dana getting pissy cause some fighters aren't taking short notice fights, Dana doesn't always get what he wants. The UFC cannot force a fighter to take a fight, particularly outside of his own weight class.
The UFC isn't selling out Cowboy's Stadium anytime soon.
