This pretty much ensures that we'll see Silva lose.

I love watching him fight, but it's already bad enough for me that I have to watch BJ and Rampage get their asses whooped every 6 months. I don't wanna see a 44 yr. old Anderson Silva getting worked by a bunch of young punks that only fight him to build their name.

It also says a lot about Zuffa and what they think about the rest of their talent

I was just going to mention that Werdum's clinch work in the Nelson fight looked great. Nelson isn't Cain though, Cain's stronger and is a much better wrestler.

You're right...but we shall see what happens if we get to this bridge ....underrated fight IMO.but I am a big fan of Werdum :yeshrug:

Also remember when Werdum fought allister he actually outstruck Overeem (62-46) in that match, if he didnt fukk around trying to lure Overeem to the ground 500 times he could have won

I really want dude to chill and retire undefeated in the UFC WITH his belt.

If he's gonna keep fighting it's just a matter of time :to: I get a feeling it's gonna be like Roy Jones where once those magic reflexes fail him it's going to be a real problem, he's always been so dynamic that he overcomes his defensive deficiencies

(he's not hard to actually hit he's just always been good at rolling with punches and using your over committing against you)

good lookin out mayne couldnt find it anywhere and they were extra slow uploading the fights to their site/utube. I know its somewhat of a "little engine that could" venture but they need to solve these production/site issues soon..Imagine tellin folks to pay 4 a ppv and even that has complications

Try this link
[ame=http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/28271172/theater][PPV] Invicta FC, Invicta FC pt 3 InvictaFC on USTREAM. Mixed Martial Arts[/ame]

Watched the Davis fight and she looked really sharp. Also the Calderwod fight, she has some nice striking. Landed standing upward elbows on her opponent.

Despite the impending end of a three-year broadcast relationship with Strikeforce, Showtime has no plans to get out of MMA.

Stephen Espinoza, executive vice president and general manager of Showtime Sports, today told MMAjunkie.com that the network is in active discussions with a variety of combat-sports promoters to fill the void left by the Zuffa-owned promotion, which is scheduled to hold its final event on Saturday.

Shark Fights, Legacy Fighting Championship, Invicta FC and Xtreme Fighting Championships are among those rumored to have been in talks with Showtime. Espinoza, though, declined to name any possible suitors.

Espinoza said the meetings took place in "the last few weeks, after it became clear that we would not be moving forward with Strikeforce for the next year."

"We had the option of moving forward (with Strikeforce)," he said. "We decided not to exercise that option."

I could definitely see Showtime rolling with Invicta which could be interesting if they put some backing into it considering the lack of depth in women's MMA could cause interesting competition over talent acquisitions with UFC (gives more viable option for fighters like Coenen, Cyborg who've had issues with Zuffa) and the fact they can showcase multiple weight classes of talent whereas UFC is essentially banking on one women.

That would be the promotion I would most want to see on Showtime as well. The talented 135lb females can be in the UFC and the rest would be in Invicta.

same but it is a catch 22, like dude alluded to showtime aint about to lend fighters to zuffa on some talent exchange shyt.So if showtime do get invicta i think the company can only go on to be as relevant as a female bellator.
