I agree, Lombard dropping to 175 saved him some time, but Dana clearly overspent to get him and thought they were going to get the Bellator version that ko'd scrubs left and right. The UFC is just a different beast. His next fight is against Nate Marquart this month. I think this fight will be a loser gets cut.

Every time when there's a big fight in Bellator, and the media talks the fighters up and them Rebney says x fighter in bellator is the best in world, Dana can just say, yeah right just like how Lombard was the best before too. Every time a Bellator fighting comes over and struggles in UFC, it must weakens the stance of Bellator being a premium fight promotion and really being just a smaller feeder promotion.

In addition, when the UFC cuts guys who can't find championships in UFC if they go onto Bellator and win fights, belts or anything Dana can then say hey look our scrubs are stars to them. Thats why its funny, Rampage and Tito headlining for Bellator is actually a negative thing for Rebney in my books.

Bellator never signs [cut] UFC fighters that have good potential to be champion. Hence, why I don't see them going after Okami at all. That is also why they didn't go after Fitch.

if that's your sissified way not to answer then so be it. No way ufc reaches the height it mustered in its boom if 90% of fighters fought like bendo simple as. Is he as boring as gsp or carmont? No. Did/does his grinding/i don't have power to ko or jitz to sub leave a lot to be desired in many of hisfiights? Yes. What kind of (ufc) champion or fighter can't finish an opponent anyway?
