well this isn't true.Easy to be when R&B is finished. I just don't get in awe when I see her perform. People didn't give Janet Jackson this treatment.
Janet Jackson from Rhythm Nation til right around Velvet Rope dominated, BUT she had contemporaries that did the same, which is why it didn't come off that way to you. The field was deeper.

I just think Beyoncé is overrated. With Chris Brown I get it because he's arguably the best dancer to ever do music so when he performs I can see the amazement. I just think Beyoncé is mostly hype which leads radio to force feed her music down our throats all day which leads to MTV making her this mythical figure.
