Post had me in tears cracking up.

I can't be bothered to fukk with metacritic anymore. This is the 2nd big game that reviewers don't understand. They knocked Driveclub because it wasn't open world and now they knock The Order because it isn't a "game". Well RAD made the perfect combination of cinema and cinematic game and these pos reviewers don't understand. The Order is my GOTY I can't wait to get it tomorrow.

Its not even that people don't want it but if a game isn't a full game then don't charge $60 for it. If it's an interactive movie try charging $30. Critically speaking though interactive movies almost always get slammed. Heavy Rain is the exception not the rule and that was from a while ago. Beyond Two Souls came out in the same style and was slammed. I played it and thought it was solid but I have no issues mostly watching a game. I don't judge something by what I want it to be I judge it for what it is.

Example: I think Final Fantasy XIII is a solid game but I didn't pick it up expecting it to be like Final Fantasy VI or VII. XIII is an interactive movie with minimal linear gameplay and to me that's fine but to the gaming critics because it wasn't an open world RPG with exploration that made it a mediocre game.

I always expected The Order to be a giant cut scene. I didn't expect it to be basically half a story though.

I think it can work in games that are more of an 'interactive drama'. but those games also need a strong (and complete) story to be successful. and like I just said, people know what they're getting into with those types of games. it's a slower paced game, as opposed to what you might expect from a '3rd person cover based shooter'

I said this joint would be bargain bin status off of the info I had gathered on it months ago. These devs have to do better.

How you gonna release a single player game that's short as shyt and not even include coop or a multiplayer? It's good to see this game get shytted on. Yal shytted on Ryse but now yal turning around and buying this? For full price? Hell nah

Yeah the game isn't very good. You know that era of games that released after Gears that tried to ape everything about Gears but never got it right? This is one of those games.
