I have a 4K TV and 3 1440p monitors. I legit can't tell the difference between 2K on my 25" monitor and 4K on my 48" TV. 1440p (2K) is the way to go. It looks much better than 1080p and is easier to run. 4K is just not worth the performance hit, especially when it barely looks better than 4K. Plus, it's too expensive now and you still can't run all ultra 60fps on a lot of games in 4K (even with my Titan X SLI setup). Just grab a nice 1440p monitor and a 980ti. You'll be good to go
shyt I copped one of those 1440p Korean monitors for like $200 and I'm eating, my homies ASUS ROG is a little better but not by much.

I got 3 Dells. They are real nice. Sometimes I play in 6K with all three monitors (but there is a bug with the Titan X's that makes games artifact after about 30-1hour). 1440p is the way to go :wow:

I have an overclockable 1440p Korean monitor. I like it but at this point with all these new monitor technologies coming out, I would wait until you can find one for a good price that has Freesync or G-Sync, 144hz refresh or higher, and doesn't use a TN panel.

Freesync should be the safer choice.

do you want 60fps at 4k? Get 980ti sli. I'd water cool the CPU (get at least a 4790k and overclock it). You need around 1000 watts.

One card will get you 4K at 30fps on high settings. 2 cards will get you 4k at 60fps at high settings. Also realize you won't be able to play all games at 4k 60fps on ultra or high. I have a Titan X sli setup and I can't play all games at 4K 60fps all ultra. You'll have to make some sacrifices at that resolution
Damn breh since i last been on here you have really taken it to a new level sli Titans :gladbron: I been trying to hold out some hope for amd with the zen cpus right now i got two R9 Fury's that I got for less when 700 on a ebay deal they don't do to bad can do decent settings on 4k the struggles of amd.

Brehs with SLI experience I need y'all expertise...

I'm considering copping a 970 and pairing that up with my 780...I plan to keep the 780 as a dedicated physx card but not sure if that means I will get the full 8GB VRAM...I would like to combine that and not sure which way to go or if its software dependent...

What do y'all recommend?

SLI doesn't combine VRAM except in dx12. Plus, you need two of the same card. If you are just running the 780 as a physx card, then you will not get any bump up in vram. You'll just get the 3.5gb from the 970

All this Quantum Break talk has got me wanting to go to win 10. I might upgrade tonight :lupe:

I don't want to (I'm afraid it will break my sound card and VPN), but I think I'm gonna have to with these new games :francis:
