It's IPS 60hz and gets good reviews. But does it have that going to sleep problem you were talking about?
I'm really thinking about going 4K and getting rid of the headaches of 3 monitor gaming.
I want that 5K monitor, but it's waaaaaaay too expensive (especially after just dropping $2K on gpus)
EDIT: Nevermind. I just went to frys and got 2 more 1440p monitors instead. I'm rocking 6K now (hopefully the Titan Xs can handle it)

That issue was/is apart of the "U" series monitors, haven't heard anything about it for the P series monitors...
I would say anyone gaming above 1080p should give those U series Dells a look...I haven't seen a 2k or 4k monitor, for sheer picture quality, even come close to Dell...
Although I haven't looked at some of the most recently 1440p monitors and above, so maybe Dell was just so far ahead of the game as of March 2014...

I can always rock 3x1080p if needed too. Plus, I might lower some setting if I can get 6k.
