So I accidentally broke off the sata data connector (the mini L shaped plastic part) on my western digital caviar black hdd.

Did the rma because I saw on ocn and other forums that western digital will still rma for you. So I sent my hdd back to western digital for rma about a month ago and just received it Friday. They told me no bueno cuz the of what happened now I gotta buy a new board and try to solder it.

Post a pic of the broken piece. You may be able to get a 90 degree data cable and some Velcro tape and make it work.

I just bought a used Samsung 22" tv to use as my secondary monitor(I had an Asus 22" monitor) works fine for video but text are very blurry

If you talking high quality HD video production then you are going to need the biggest baddest processor you can afford because of trans and enocoding...

Music production not so much...and if you are an audiophile then whatever sound card you get is what is going to make or break the system, not stuff like cpu and mem

depends on what type of monitor you want. Dell makes good 1440p and 4k monitors. for 144hz, I think you gotta go ASUS (but be weary, they are hit or miss). If you want g-sync you gotta go ASUS or ACER

There's now a STEAMVR tap under "Library," but no STEAMVR kits to buy

Now I'm reading it's coming out in November, but only for the development kit. We gotta wait until next year for the consumer model. Still no price or specs either. But we're close, I guess....
