We should probably throw up a $400ish fallout 4 build soon. The 860K and G3258 still the best processors to build around at that budget? Appears to be the case.
Yeah good idea. I dunno about the CPUs though. F4 is recommending a 4790. We gotta wait and see real world specs
So I plan on upgrading my desktop, mainly for FALLOUT 4...as of right now my pc can't even play Rocksmith 2014,or CS:GO, games that I play 90% of the time

Is it essential to get a new motherboard? This desktop was free so I figured i'll try to take as much parts from it as I can. I planned on using it,putting it in my new case, also could I build something for under $600(for this month) to run Fallout at some medium specs? I planned on upgrading my CPU in December as I figured with the video card upgrade alone, i'll be able to play CS:GO and Rocksmith again

Also F4 says it requires 8gb RAM....so does that mean I should upgrade RAM to like 12gb/16gb or am I straight?
I have no idea about running shyt in 4k....I do know I want to be able to play this on a big monitor and possibly my LCD tv though
