:francis:Ask the buyers of the 780TI how they felt over the past couple years. Maxwell wasnt built to last.
real talk I had the vanilla 780 and when the 980 dropped I dumped it with the quickness. One of the best PC decisions I've made. I'm keeping this 980 ti though. When the 1080 ti drops I'm getting that as it looks like if it's the same jump from the 980 to the 980 ti it'll probably about reach 50-60 fps at 4K on a single card on the highest settings.

My two 1080s came, but the new sli bridge is still not available :what:

My old bridge better at least work. I'll fukk with it tomorrow and see what's up. But, wtf are you doing nvidia? You hyped up your new sli bridge, but don't have it on sale? :why:

:ehh:Vanilla 780 would be struggling right now. I got a second hand 280x a year ago and the shyt aged like fine wine:ohlawd:

I think the 1080TI gonna be on 60+ @4k on most titles, tbh, seeing as how close the 1080 is currently. Even then, if you have a Gsync monitor with a good range (~30+) you won't feel a thing
when it drops below 60.

I'm waiting on Vega 11 to make my decision, cause im ready to step to 1440P unless a 4k monitor for $500 calls me by Cyber Monday.

AMD cards hold up pretty well

Nvidia not so much, might be time for me to dump this Reference 970

:damn:
And if you believe in the conspiracy theory that nvidia stops supporting previous generations of cards as much...there's that too :patrice:

Dump the 970 and get a 1070 when they come out. At 1080p, you'll have an overabundance of power :wow:

I always been down with console gaming, its been in my blood for over 15 years. I feel like this might be a good time to build a pc with a 1080 or 1070. :patrice:I'm a wait after the releases tho, and see how it's going, then by the end of the year, I'll build one...:jbhmm:

I think I'm going to build a VR PC for my living room. Anyone have any good ideas on components for a midsize VR capable unit that would look decent in an entertainment center? My wife insists it must look nice or she won't let me put in in the living room.

Need a nice looking, high quality case as recommendation as well as high quality internal options. Would like to keep it under $1000 and it should last at least 3-5 years without excessive upgrade requirements.

Help needed.

maybe show her the case first to make sure she approves :dame:

but an expensive case will eat into that $1000

other than that probably build it around a 1070 and an i5

Over the last week or so I've been having trouble opening applications up on my PC.

Battle.net, Overwatch and this AMD Gaming Evolved/Raptr shyt will not open for me at times until I restart my PC. I'm on Windows 10, anybody seen this problem before? It's annoying the hell out of me

Just download more rice breh.

Is it only those three apps?? I hate to offer generic advice but have you uninstalled/reinstalled them?

Also try running a cleanup tool like CCleaner and analyze/clean your registry and other things.
