Brehs, my fans on my PC have gotten so loud it sounds like there's a hurricane in my room whenever I exert the system. Is it time to replace the cooler? Or are there any other fixes?
First, run "power options" and see if you're on "high performance." If you are, go to "Balanced." That should minimize the heat generated from your CPU and lower the sound. If you're already on Balanced, then you might have to replace the cooler.Brehs, my fans on my PC have gotten so loud it sounds like there's a hurricane in my room whenever I exert the system. No, I've actually been thinking of getting one of those air cans.... guess it's time to try it out.Have you blown the dust out of the case?
get in there and blow out the dust (use compressed air)Brehs, my fans on my PC have gotten so loud it sounds like there's a hurricane in my room whenever I exert the system. Is it time to replace the cooler? Or are there any other fixes?
Ya, ima have to try this out. Hoping the fix is as easy as this.get in there and blow out the dust (use compressed air)
How long have you had the case after about 2 years I tend to replace them if you have to go that route noctua makes some great fans. Fist as they said I would try making sure you don't have some Over clocking program ramping up the voltage the fans are getting then clean them out.No, I've actually been thinking of getting one of those air cans.... guess it's time to try it out.
Thanks breh.

A Case can last for years you should be straight, Fans wear down over time though.Man, time passed by so quickly that I forgot that I've actually had the case for over 2 years.
I'll just do all 3.
Check the power balance
Blow the dust out
Replace the case and coolers
Hopefully i won't need to replace the case but just coolers. I haven't used this PC enough and I feel like the case still looks pretty much brand new.
Thanks breh
yeah dust can collect in between the fins of the heatsink, and stop air from passing through. it can help a lot to clean it outYa, ima have to try this out. Hoping the fix is as easy as this.

Migrate the OS to get the most benefit. What size SSD did you have in mind?I updated to windows 10. My C:drive is completely full now and I can't update it. Is it possible to move only my program file to a new SSD i have, or will I have to migrate the entire OS?
