just go with intel man lol
I had AMD fx 8350 (mind you it wasnt for gaming, it was for a program i used to run) I ran 20 clients (Botted on a game for $$ :wow:) at 100% usage.

Anyways, I eventually was told to upgrade to an i7 and the cost difference of $200 was like :hhh: but holy fukk was it worth it

I was only at 50% usage with 20 clients, AND the shyt ran cooler on a stock cpu cooler :patrice:

Not saying go spend $200 extra, but basically just go with intel, you won't regret it.

Someone already answered but i'ma answer too :birdman:

Ya 500 is enough for the OS and a few games. Also put programs that you want to open quickly or that you would use a lot. Do you still have a HDD? Put everything else such as media, old files, etc...Basically all performance related files on the SSD, everything else on HDD.

Yea i got a 2 tb hdd. Figured id use it for shyt like music and movies

I was thinking of building an htpc for my living room to go with my 55-inch. I thought about it and realize that my main purpose would be to just stream games from my gaming pc in my computer room, my fire tv already handles my other forms of entertainment. I've decided that I'm going to cop a steam link, and hard-wire it of course.

Intel is the only way to go.

I'm a strict intel and nvidia guy. It's not done me wrong (well a few times, but whatever...)

AMD anything
The RX 480 is a better buy than the GTX 1060 (Same price, can crossfire)

the RX 470 is a better buy over the GTX 1050 Ti ($20 difference)

I hope Ryzen delivers. I am still holding out hope that Intel will have competition.

I think it looks better than the caselabs cases, but yeah ridiculous price.
i wont argue there. caselabs cases are boxy and plain as fukk. but functionality is unmatched if youre a custom watercooling nut like me. in all honesty, the best looking case imo is still the silverstone tj07 and tj11.

phanteks is a great case maker. but the asking price is sort of ridiculous. i get and understand why they would charge as much do to the quality of the materials that case has and its premium suit case packaging. but none of that really separates itself from other cases that are 1/5 of its msrp.

caselabs cases are niche and benefit people who want to overdue their systems with watercooling therefore it reflects their pricing. but even caselabs is charging more and im glad i bought my two cases from them early. its almost a $150 price raise from 3 years ago to now

@Ciggavelli whats a decent price 4k monitor thats good for gaming? gonna cop the gtx 1080 fyi
I always go Dell. You can get $400-500 4K monitors, but they're not IPS. Look for IPS. Dell makes great 4K monitors for like $700. It's well worth it. I have 5 dell high end monitors :dead:

They've never done me wrong.
