My GPU temp just hit 101c!
I don't know if it's because I had Sleeping Dogs running at 1440P on high settings while my browser was on but damn that was high.

What monitor you coming up from? Also be sure to turn vsync off with that thing.
You got any aggressive fan profiles set up? If not you need to get on that.
Edit:Who wants to get in on this Borderlands 2 4-Pack?Nevermind

I had my fan set to 40% but I bumped it to 50%. The noise don't bother as I play with loud volume anyway. I did OC it earlier so that may be why.
Yea mane, I made sure to disable motion blur and vsync..I've been running test on games just to see how they look from low to high settings. If you can constantly pull high frames in games on a 144hz display it feels like your in heaven..
Heck low settings in some games on 144hz kinda feels better then maxed out settings on games on a 60hz display..I can't explain it. Maybe I'm just not used to the fluidity.
50 isn't aggressive at all. You going to have to start pushing 80. Just set up an app like Precision X's auto curve and make the fan increase by 10% for every 10 degrees.
I went into Tomb Raider and did a benchmark and after the 2nd benchmark the framerate started stuttering and my screen turned grey with vertical lines and the PC rebooted. Later on when I was trying Sleeping Dogs the temps were like at 101c.

That's how my settings look in the AMD CC and in MSI Afterburner now.
The settings in AMD window were directly from a OC guide I was following which said to emulate it's settings, put these values in.
Honestly though the airflow for the card may be hampered.

U see how close that other PCI card is to the GPU?? It's like a paper thin space between the fan and the back of my sound card.
how does it do with the new curve?
