Same principal that let's people run ps2 games in 1080p on pcsx2. Renders the image at a higher than native resolution then pushes that to the native making it look clearer and sharper.

I can see a difference using emulators though. In Dolphin, when I crank the resolution up to 4x from 3x I can see the image get much clearer.

Have you thrown console gaming in the bushes completely? You seem to be going hard on the PC these days.

i actually still want a PS4. i know there are a lot of games that still wont come out on PC. i will keep a PC for western games, PS4 for japanese stuff.

Yeah, you'll need sli for 1440p at max settings. My 690 struggles on max settings on 5760 x 1080 on some games (far cry 3 and tomb raider for example). It still is above 30fps (~45), but it's hurting. I dunno about 2 titans though. that shyt might be the way to go. I might get another 690 when the prices drop, but 4way sli might be overkill (we'll see how next gen games are though)

quick question, my AVG scan came up with this detection trojon horse agent 4, said it couldn't remove it fully and had to do it 'manually' but when i scanned it with maleware bytes and avast nothing came up before and after nothing appears

im help me out breh's

I think you got some problems breh. I looked it up, and you do have to remove it manually

I hate when I have a virus and someone tells me to DOWNLOAD something to remove it....


but in this rare case it does work and is legit


download a trial version of "Revo Uninstaller Pro" or get the full version from torrents... I recently had to use it when control panel wouldn't allow me to uninstall "Pc Optimizer Pro" (which was maleware that I got from downloading a game ). It removes EVERYTHING....


u need to know the name of the file that had the trojan tho, if u don't then

Y'all tryna bankrupt a nikka, I done spent way more than I initially planned on this build over time and went out a bought a 1080P TV just for it.

nah, it's not capped at 30. make sure you have vsync off. the game is very cpu dependant, and can bottleneck any video card. try turning down your view distance

are they only using 4 cores?

I now see why Microsoft and SONY went with AMD for next gen. I just played Max Payne 3 @ damn near max settings @ 1080P with an A10-5800K STOCK on my friends PC. NOTHING on the Intel side is going to top that @ $130...sorry @2gunsup I am interested in seeing what Intel responds with because @ that price point? sheeeeit I told him to couple it with a high end nVidia card and there will be no limits for years. First APU I ever got on...I should have researched this sooner.

I am about to throw a build to help those who want to join the master race for cheap :wow2:

are they only using 4 cores?

the problem is it's heavily dependant on one core. it does use more than one core, but it tries to do too much with the first core. so the best way to increase performance is extreme overclocking, since the per-core performance is more important than how many cores you have

it has been getting better through the alpha. I guess they're slowly dumping stuff on other cores

they finally added legit sniper rifles and scopes in the latest dev build

I just peeped the PS4 thread and just read that the PS4's graphics card will be the equivalent of the 7850. I have that in my PC now. I'm assuming that 2 of those cards crossfired will outperform next-gen consoles for the foreseeable future right?

So I decided to use up my Micro Center warranty to replace the 690 with a Titan. I was planning on getting another 690 for quad sli but since 2 Titans > 2 690s I decided to just go Titan sli.
