Finally got my PC back from Micro Center, had them replace the mobo and rebuild it. Honestly I should’ve had them build it from the jump. My looks :gladbron: now and it runs quieter. shyt sounded like a PS4 running GTA V before.
How much was it?

Glad you got your build and this isn’t me hating at all but damn for $11k they could’ve at least given you some Dominator Titanium DDR5-8000 RAM.

Yeah, what I got was the best they offered. Ram is a quick fix though if I’m not happy. I never really cared much about ram, but I can change it out if necessary.

I just hope the 5090 is water cooled properly. I guess if it fries they’ll just send a new one. Their tube work isn’t necessarily pretty, but we’ll see. I don’t know how they can send a water cooled rig with water in it over the mail. It comes in a crate. I’m gonna need a friend to help me unbox it.

I dunno, it was a lot to spend on a pc, but selling my old shyt offset some costs. I just hope it’s worth it. But you’re right, they could have given me better ram.

It is supposed to get here in early May. I think I might sell my Vision Pro too. Get like $2500 for it. I never use it and there are no apps for it. Apple really fukked up. It’s cool, but not that cool.

I just hope this originPC is plug and play with no problems. But I got a 2 year warranty with it, so if it fukks up, they can deal with it. I just want a stress free experience after my last build and all its problems. I like building, but it takes too much effort to build a water cooled rig. With work being crazy I just don’t have the energy to do it. Luckily I never opened my old components I bought a year ago. Just auctioned them off and got good money.

11k on a pc

I don't know rather to :mjcry: or :salute:

I don't have the courage to buy a liquid cooled system. Worried about the hassle of something going wrong and trying to ship it back.

But when you got 11k to throw at a pc you playing by a different set of rules :wow:

I just bought that shyt before the tariffs ramp up even more. I waited a week and the price went up $500. I have no idea what it is now. They claim they'll ship it May 2nd. We'll see. I asked how many radiators they were putting in the rig, and the guy was like, that's not my department. Ehhh.... They claim they'll stress test it for 24 hours. Hopefully they know what they are doing. Their tube work is a little ugly, but I guess it doesn't really matter. I asked what 5090 they are using and they said FE due to the Corsair waterblocks. I still don't know how they are gonna send me a water-cooled rig in the mail. It comes in a crate supposedly (they made me pay for that), so hopefully it's all good. I have a lot of experience with water-cooled builds, so I know what's up. They seem to really love Corsair. I upgraded to the 1600w psu,. The ram and cpu should be fine, but I may update the ram. It doesn't really matter, but I want this to be the best possible system point blank. I'm not really sure what to expect, but these guys have been doing this for a long time. I expect the best shyt possible. I got 24h customer service and a 2 year warranty on all parts. That's about the time the 6090 will come out.

What I expect is, they'll ship this shyt. I'll plug it in, and it will work perfectly. If it's anything less than that, I'm gonna complain. We'll see. I just hope it is good :lupe:

Yeah I had a friend who bought a PC from origin a few years ago, top of the line everything but not water cooled. It comes in a BIG ASS crate, like your going to need a power drill or crowbar to open it, and then inside the crate the pc was strapped down to the bottom of it I guess to minimize movement, and inside the pc they had a bunch of padding. He still has it now, just swapping out new gpu's when he wants one. He got a full tower version though so that thing was huge. Build quality was nice.

He did run into an issue with the cpu cooler where when he went to update the icue software on his pc it failed...and left his fans spinning at 100% :mjlol: . Completely uninstalling icue and then re installing the newest version instead of doing the upgrade fixed it though.

The thing I have always been scared of when it comes to buying a water cooled pc is that you open it and it's liquid everywhere so now you got to package it back up and send it off:scusthov:.

I'm sure with your history of never having PC problems it will be fine though :pachaha:

I just bought every game on my steam wishlist. I have all the best games (I have 2,494 games to be exact on my steam :dead:). I can't wait for this PC. Let's hope it is good :sadcam:

I'm ready to game again. The last game I played was BG3. It was epic and awesome, and then I quit gaming. I got a few games I wanna play first on pc. Spider-man 2, Horizon forbidden west, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. I also never played Starfield. I might just give it a try.

Now, I know I coulda just played these shyts on my PS5 pro, but I want the best experience possible. fukking 57" super ultrawide and all that. I still need to play Astrobot on my ps5 pro though, but I want the best experience possible anywhere. The best fukking shyt possible. Hopefully I'll get that, as I paid for it. We shall see...

I'll buy a Switch 2, probably from some scalpers if I'm being honest. I want MK and DK. I love MK. I played that shyt to death, plus my nieces and nephew like that shyt when they come over to visit. Nothing like some MK for the fam. I'm gonna get the pro controller too, and probably a couple other normal controllers. Gotta be prepared for guests and all that.

We shall see if this new pc lives up to standards. If it doesn't I'm gonna complain and @Orbital-Fetus will post the lonely man gif (:dead:). I always have PC problems, but this time OriginPC can deal with them. I just send them to my house and they can deal with it. It's what you pay for when you buy an $11k pc. If not

Just sold my 2 year old Strix 4090 for $2.2k :wow: free 5090 upgrade
:ehh:

I literally just got a text from Microcenter saying 50s were back in stock, clicked the link less than 10 secs later, checked every store in NY, all 5090s still OoS. Not like I wanted/needed one. They do have 5080s tho. If I ain't have a 4 banger, I'd cop one.

Nah, I got a good ending, but I was like, this game is perfect (the ending was kinda underwhelming though). What's the point of playing anything else? It was also a choir at times, which kinda blew me up. I beat it pretty close to release date. I loved it, and I hate turn-based combat. Then my fukking computer broke. Then I've been dealing with building a new one. I bought all the parts and just couldn't bring myself to build it. Alcoholism and shyt is a problem. So, I was like why not just have OriginPC build it? I want plug and play. I sold off all my old shyt to offset some of the costs (I had the components unopened). I'm too busy to build a water cooled rig at the moment (and the alcoholism). It's better if somebody else builds it and deals with the problems that always occur with TOTL builds. It was a lot of money, but I hope it's just plug and play. That's what I'm expecting. If not, I'll complain. I have optimistic thinking toward it. OriginPC has been doing this for a long time. I've always wanted to own one of their builds. I got the best everything, water cooled. It better be fukking amazing. :manny:
