I was able to make my mom's oldBrehs how the fukk do you deal with slow ass computers man?? My brother computer is ancient and I'm trying to fix it but it feels futile. The shyt literally hangs every few seconds for a minute or two and it just is painful to sit through. I don't have the patience and really think it's a waste of time. That shyt got 3GB DDR2 ram, some old ass Intel pentium core 2 duo and integrated graphics. I don't think his shyt even has a CD drive.i can't man I can't.... I don't think this shyt could even execute a gameboy emulator.
desktop running proper.All you need to do is get whatever they need to do and get the most lightweight application for it.
for example like 1by1 which can play MP3s and only takes 5MB of RAM. About 2 years ago my mom still was running with 512MB and still being able to work on an old ass pc because I stripped it to the very core. Only the absolute minimum running in the background, light mp3 player, google chrome browser, abiword (lighter than libreoffice and openoffice) and some other 3rd party light weight pdf viewer.

sooner or later, 1200p and or 120hz will become the new standard for PC gaming

Nah not even close. We got the 4K revolution coming up, then mothafukkas are gonna wanna 3 monitor that (like me). So no, we're still far, far away

Is having multiple monitors really that much better? i mean IMO,it must be harder looking across 3 screens let alone 2.

If you have a good enough card, fukking do it ASAP. You will not regret it. Other than that occulus rift that is not out yet, this is the next stage in gaming. I am not exaggerating at all. Three monitors will change your opinion of gaming forever. 1 monitor only games are like 
Edit: to answer your question before, you only focus in on the center monitor, you let your periphery vision "see" the left and right monitors
I dont play games on both monitors
depending on the game ill have 1 open with the coli
and 1 in windowed but full screen mode on the other monitorwhen I die in a game and takes awhile to come back to life i just look at the coli or something
was toying around with replacing my bedroom PC with something more capable. damn components i want add up to over $1000.

$390 for mobo and processor if i went down to the core i5 i could save $70 more bit i cheaped out last time and regretted it.

from this point on everything else would be optional. i could gut my bedroom PC and take 8GBs of the 16GBs in my gaming PC in fact the new bedroom PC is already better than the gaming PC and if i should take the best components from it instead.
