I don't know what you're talkign about, he is one of the most respected artists right now, it's probably because of his albuml but still, he is one of the most respected.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
He is humble in a sense. He lets the music speak for itself. And he's making quality music.

I don't see how you can listen to the content of his music and assume he's "humble". I think the fact that he's in the spotlight and not "underground" it bothers people because he always had that going for him.

No he said he gonna murder them and have the superior career and kill their careers doing so..which if he left out names that would be cool

But in the genre of hip hop the aspect of namedroppin has always been a sacred thing

Namedroppin in a negative context has always been translated as disrespect in this hip hop sht..its only in this soft ass "hurr durr hip hop is friendly competition" WWE ass generation that we look at things differently...

Drake considered the namedrop as a diss from a lil nikka lookin for attention as he should have because he understands hip hop, unlike some overcompensating ass cac who has to latch onto opinions that he feels will perpetuate an image of knowledge of the hip hop culture towards black people because of an inferiority complex u have in the context of our culture

nikka dnt speak to me again

Matta fact

Dnt speak hip hop again fakkit :umad:

Am i being racist? Yea , but its hip hop so :blessed:

Im not into all that extra chit.

I just don't like him because
1.) hes a blatant industry plant. and seems to be taking drake's spot as the prime example of such.
2.) hes an average rapper who they forced into the game as some type of new era goat. its disgusting.
3.) most of his music sucks.

:heh: doing shyt like that only gets a pass for "friendly competition" in todays generation breh, back in the day them nikkas would crack you over the head with a bottle for disrespectin like that

imo Kendrick has to kill the game with another album or a tape before i really buy into this top rapper talk because GKMC was very humble for that nikka to turn around and say that puts him over everyone

Plus I think some people see him as a twerp
See what the fukk does this have to do with his music tho?
Like Got damn, you nikkas hate him so much you spend your time day after day, making threads hating on him. Bringing up excuses for his rise in the game...

it's either

Drake put him on
He's a industry plant
He has a hype machine

like seriously all this and nothing about his actual music. It's like yall choose to ignore it, like he don't have the music to back up his talent. I ask them over and over again what does this have to do with the quality of his music... nobody gives me answer... because don't have one

Drake putting him (as you all are saying) has nothing to do with the music he puts out.

Kendrick being a industry plant (As you all are saying) has nothing to do with the music he puts out

Having a hype machine ( As you all are sying) has nothing do with the music he puts out

The music is there... so continue to delude yourselves... if you're not feeling his music, just say that...stop with these obscene notions

you seriously think HiiiPower is a bad song?

ADHD?

Rigamortis ain't some talented shyt?

Sing About Me isn't a great achievement in musicianship?

He wasn't rapping his ass off in The Heart Pt. 2?

Yall don't like his voice? Cool, but I find it funny for people who are fans of Andre 3000 to say that... Kendrick is obviously a hybrid of 3000, E-40, a lil bit of Bone Thugz n Harmony, it's obvious he takes his music serious...

Look at GKMC, he starts off the album with a prayer, and ends with that prayer, he's a Christian, and his entire album revolves around that. I can relate to a lot of shyt he rapped in GKMC, I have seen someone get killed, I have been in a life of death situation with a gun pointed at me when I was a Sophomore in HS. I have done crazy shyt for a girl, I have experience alcohol abuse and drug abuse, both my parents were victims, Grandparents raised me. I've done my share of mischief, and now I have matured, and I have a good paying job taking care of family and handling responsibilities. GKMC is a story of adolescence, maturing, faith.

The realest shyt said by Pops:

"Any nikka can kill a man, that don't make you real nikka... real is responsibility, real taking care of your family, real is GOD, nikka"

Like that line just sums up the entire album... it's innovating. It's why I appreciate his personal music.

I didn't know shyt about Kendrick when I listened to OD and section.80 but those made me a fan cuz his talent, most people listen to the music and are happy with it, y'all are reaching

I don't even care if he has the big head or not, he is arguarbly the best rapper right now, who dropped the best album of this new gen.

I don't care about someone's behaviour, I only care about the quality of the music. I don't even care if I lke the music or not, I only support what I think is great, even if I don't like it.
