You also know damn well that the idiots that signed up to pay six figures in loans don't just want the interest nixed, they want the entire loan forgiven. If Biden said he would have the interest on the loan forgiven, they would still bytch and complain.

fr, how about we cancel the interest only (since thats the real problem, right?) , and use that $ towards the hood... the people who REALLY need a bailout. Most mfs in college with student loans probably ARE NOT from the hood , so if they complain still then they just beggars.

Black students take on more loans than white students because they're less likely to have mom and dad pay for their college. Unless you’re applying a blanket 20k debt forgiveness across the board for things like medical bills, housing etc then there should not just be outright debt relief for student loans. Student loan reform? Sure. I outlined some needed changes. Just wipe it all away? Folks without student loans should not be shouldered with paying for that

Outright wiping out tens of thousands in student loan debt across the board and making everyone without the student loan debt but have likely lots of other debt and get jack shyt shoulder the bailout is a big fukk off from me

I'm a black man and no one has ever given me sh1t, not even the benefit of doubt. I'm sorry if I don't have any mercy on a bunch of lazy, unaccountable fukks that feel like it's my responsibility to pay for their education.

Btw, I graduated in 09 into a really fukked up economy and still made a way for myself and my 9 year old daughter.
