Exactly it's already happened. Boeing got millions if not billions and they laid off 90k. It's a myth giving these companies money saved or creates jobs

An ex co-worker of mine became a flight attendant. She's worked for United for going on 12 years now. The cares act bailout funds that went to airlines was similar to the PPP regulations. Corps had to use only 60% of the grant money on employee retention and costs of running the business. Mainly on the employee retention. Well, they paid another two months salary, and proceeded to lay off a shyt load of FA's right afterwards. So basically, they pocketed the remaining 40% and spread it through their ceo's and share holders.

Breh those same companies will use bailout money to buy back stocks, payoff dividends, and STILL lay people off.

The majority of people aren’t trying the get debt wiped off, but that shyt needs to be in line with salaries and growth, vs the student loan costs.

No ones shytting on you. Props to you. Just understand that not everyone is in the same boat as you were. Not everyone had the same opportunities. Etc. You should never wanna tear another person down, or hold them back from opportunities to better their lives, just because you battled through tough times.

i dont think breh is referring to ppp or any of that ... but to the bailout $ airlines and other companies DID use to buy back their stock and give out bonuses . im opposed to ANY bailout if it aint poor people . fucc an airline , but nikkas cry for daddy companies .

I don’t get that mentality breh, I’m all for people making money and capitalism, but student debt is a issue in this country that needs to be addressed. It’s not a lazy problem, it’s a predatory / opportunity problem especially in the black community.

I wonder if these same posters would say that to the black community as a whole, “just pull yourself up by your bootstraps” because it’s the same equivalency.

Wait, what? Bruh let me break it down for you.

These corporate ceo's see the economy about to tank. So they sell off a majority of their stock, with is the final dagger in the market crashing.. then after it hits rock bottom.. then buy it back, as well as other stocks that have done the same. These are called 'junk bonds' .. and then.. after they get bailed out from the stocks hitting rock bottom.. they come up since the stock value comes up. Rinse and repeat.
