The Self-Checkout Nightmare May Finally Be Ending

I forgot to scam a whole case of water once lol. I was like oh well

That happened to me a few months ago with a bottle of water. The next time I went to the store I just scanned the water twice to make up for it.

I don't mind the cashier lines.

I'll take them over self-checkout when I want to tune out and check my phone while someone else rings things up.

Plus some people think they're faster than cashier but are slow af and hold up the line.

I see self-checkout with a decent line, but see nobody taking a cashier, easy decision.

It’s a cheat code for scanning organic shyt as the cheaper normal shyt. If you’re really down bad many of them can be str8 stolen off of too.

If I have like 5-10 items I love self checkout, quick and easy

I didn’t realize until I got halfway home and looked my order history. It was a store I frequented for years growing up, so that’s why I felt bad about it more than anything as I didn’t want to mess up the goodwill I built.

Every time we played any role in doing anything technical for a self checkout set up them execs would be knowing they going to get that customer again to uninstall everything and reinstall the old shyt

They were already on that with the jewel osco in chicago lol they took self check out away. Then the morons realized that the lines were too long, and the cashiers were flooded. And they brought them back xD

That article is some suburb shyt. Cities need self checkout. I saw first hand what happened when they tried to take them away. You dont have enough fast cashiers for that.

ppl usually use self checkout, my grocer expanded self checkout and removed two cashier stations

Alot of the gas stations near me are getting the Mashgin touch less self checkouts where you just put the items down and it automatically scans everything. Get in and out in under a minute, love those things
