Why do y'all think HC5 crowdfunding is slow? I gave 1st day and thought it would be above six figures by now.

The Umar situation, hustling allegations, overall fukkery, consistent begging for donations didn't sit well amongst casual supporters.
He still has his main stan fanbase
Everybody in the Black Sector of Youtube lost fans/supporters because of fukkery
Umar,Polight, Sara etc.. Ain't doing soldout lectures & debates no more
Most importantly the Begging is too blatant
He useta be modest, 50k here goal, 60k goal but 500k

He must might reach 120k tho

I think certain things run their course. He had a great concept but there's interviews for free on the internet every day for free nowadays. With a lot of the same folks on these DVDs.

Not even that but that whole crowdunding game has dried up significantly recently.

It's not that it is slow. Its just he set the bar real high in a little amount of time.

Its like a celebrity getting sued for hitting somebody. The person probably only want 80k but their lawyer advise them to sue for a million to get the celebrity to settle for 300k. Now you got 300k when your real goal was really just 80k. I think that's what Tariq is doing. He probably don't need nothing but 120-150k but asking for 500k in 30 days will get the 120-150k way quicker than putting the goal 120-150k in 30 days

Actually no I didn't realize strategy behind high threshold. And I'm a Tariq fan who's contributed to most of his recent projects.

Tariq got the hidden colors. Mink slide. Youtube show. He basically gets ignored frommainstream media and black media ie roots ebony etc. But still makes alot of money and is a popular voice in our community.


Lavar got his own league and own clothing and accesories store.

He not workimg or taking a job from any corporation or having any of his sons work or take endorsements from any corporation.

Both these guys prove that u can still eat and get publicity but move how u want working from the grassroots.
