recipe ..
1. pick an attribute .. any attribute. - jamaican, white husband, lisp, low views on youtube, dusty, whatever ...
2. explain why that attribute makes that group an enemy (sometimes)
3. use that enemy status to discount and disregard whatever they say
4. constantly undermine that group in your shows (but accept exceptions).
5. juxtapose that group with your own group and give them a snappy name. if that's difficult call them non-"your group". if that fails go to generalised "enemy insults".
6. remember never to say "all" but make it clear that you ALONE decide who is a good member of that group and who is a bad member
usage ...
when confronted with someone you don't like select one of pre-configured names and use that to attack and silence .. before they even speak.
if that name doesn't work cycle through to others.
attack the person... not the argument. focus on the person and the "enemy group" that you say they belong to
cut them off asap esp. if there is a risk of them saying something you may not be able to answer.
you must appear infaliable to your audience.
preparation ...
in advance you spend your time cultivating pre-prepared enemies and demonizing them.
then when you get into a battle with them you cannot lose because you have already pre-conditioned your audience to not like a person with that attribute once you state that they have it.
if you set up lots of names you can never lose an argument because whoever you are arguing with has a pre-prepared enemy attribute that can be attacked.
test ...
pick any person at random and tariq already has an attribute in place to attack them with. there is always something.
and using this method he maintains his image as "king roast".
reality is that he isn't winning the arguments .. the hard work is done way before the arguments.
his main effort is conditioning his audience to follow his lead and conditioning them to dislike and disagree with people
because he says they should.
his battles are not the short fights his has with people.
his battles take place in the weeks and months and years during which he manipulates his listeners and gets his audience in line so they are always ready to follow his lead
he is like a magician where the magic is not on the stage but instead is due to the hours of prior practice and work off it.
