you just killed all the Toronto boys in that first bar ahaha

Abel is to males as to what Lana Del Rey is to females.
except Lana has actually went from a blatant character to doing a decent job humanizing herself more.
Has she really? She seems like she’s still doing a character imo

Lana del Rey still a caricature for sure. Its just now shes realeasing self indulgent meandering 10 minute songs so shes a "serious" artist now. I liked it better when we were all in on the joke now people actually acting like her vapid torturted sugar baby thing isnt supposed to be ironic lol

I feel like Weeknd always gets overhyped. He is just the face of R&B, no different than when everyone rides the popular wave of Drake and Meek Mill. There are better, less known R&B artists, you probably just never got into their music.

I haven’t listened to this, and have enjoyed some of his past work, but he gets way too much hype.

Remember when people though kissland was a disappointment :mjlol:

Kissland is his best Album for sure
His stans shytting on Kissland only have themselves to blame. That was his best project but because of how poorly received that album was he decided to go the pop route. Now they’ll never get an album as good as that again.

Until this I thought hed never make anything that good again. Kissland was a near masterpiece and has some his best lyricism on it. shyt like Adaptation, Tears in the Rain and the title track were so good lyrically.

This aint nothing to relate tooooo :wow:

“God damn I'm high, my doctor told me to stop
And he gave me something to pop
I mix it up with some Adderall's and I wait to get to the top
And I mix it up with some alcohol and I pour it up in a shot
I don't care about you, why you worried 'bout me?
All I want is that smoke, give me all of that smoke
Last week was my rough week, I'm still drippin' down from my nose”

he spazzed on that track when the switch came mid point :banderas:
