I was in college and I used to get new music from new artists on SOHH, the blog era, MySpace.

Pac Div, Cool Kids, Curren$y, that first Kid Cudi tape was amazing, I remember the first time learning about Jay Electronica, etc., etc.

Now, all ya'll do is cry about "violence in music" ("RAP IS CRAP") or it's the same artists being posted...I'm tried of it

Its funny TheBooth used to be the spot for hip hop and the nucleus for alot of hip hop/black culture internet trends back in the day.

But now TLR has taken over that spot. TLR is definitely the star of this website now. Which is cool. What has really happened is.

The brain begins to shape itself around the the thoughts and sounds you CONSISTENTLY have around it..

I will never stop checking for Hip hop, but the time I give it will be HEAVILY consolidated..
